Get Involved

Peckham Shed is an independent charity and community organisation, which supports and is supported by local people. We want to feel rooted in our local area so that we can make inclusive arts activities accessible to as many young people and children as possible.

There are two main ways you can help Peckham Shed:
     1. You can become a volunteer and support us with your time
     2. You can support us financially by making a donation

Volunteer Practitioners

If you are over 17 you can apply to be a volunteer practitioner, in our weekly sessions each Wednesday at the Harris Academy.
We aim to support the development of each of our practitioners by offering them training opportunities and the chance to develop their skills in a safe and supported environment. All you need is a keen interest in Drama (or dance, music, visual arts) and a desire to learn about leading inclusive arts activities.

Volunteering your time in other ways

Peckham Shed relies on community volunteers in all of its activities and you don’t have to be trained in the performing arts to get involved. You could help us with fundraising, promoting our work in the local community, or you could even become a member of our board of trustees.
