Present Projects

Youth Theatre

Our Youth theatre project this term is called ‘Outside the shed’ and it will see our members focussing on their experiences of Peckham to create performance. We want to explore the places and people of importance to our members and to bring them together to create a new piece of theatre, which is a positive reflection of Peckham.
Some of the things we’re thinking about:

The rhythms of life in Peckham - Metaphorically and through sound and physicality
Personal stories - finding local characters and their stories as well as exploring the groups stories of life in Peckham
Mapping and journeys - gathering images/ sounds to recreate spaces in Peckham
Local History

The Youth theatre members will be working towards a performance for the STEP Youth Theatre festival.

Children’s Theatre

This term, we’ll be looking at ‘Peckham Gone Wild,’ the children’s theatre group will be looking at the using performance to explore the environment and the things which concern them about the future for Peckham.

We’ll be working towards performing as part of a summer event in Peckham, as soon as details are confirmed, we’ll let you know here!
