Join us

Joining Peckham Shed is simple – you just need to come along to a session, either to observe (if you’d like to be a volunteer) or to take part (if you want to be a participant). Anyone and everyone is welcome. We just need you to fill in a few details and then the fun can begin!

Our new term of exciting and inclusive theatre workshops for children and young people will begin again in January 2012.

Our highly skilled practitioners work with groups to invent and explore theatre, dance and music. During each term there will also be regular opportunities for friends and family to see presentations and performances created by the members.  We also offer our members the chance to attend professional theatre productions.

We have three sessions to get involved with, all listed on the left.

New members
Once you’ve tried out a session and want to join up we’ll arrange a ‘welcome’ meeting with each new member and their parent where possible. This makes sure that we can explain how Peckham Shed works and why we’re different to other youth theatres. It also gives you an opportunity to talk about anything you might be worried about or to tell us about what you enjoy, don’t enjoy before you start, so we can make sure we’re listening to your ideas straight away.
